Today we are proud to announce that LinkedIn profiles are officially available within Apture.  By adding support for LinkedIn profiles Apture users can educate their readers even further.

LinkedIn profiles can now be placed right next to Twitter streams, CrunchBase profiles and even SlideShare presentations.

Take for example Reid Hoffman.  With the addition of LinkedIn profiles you can now show your readers not only what board seats he currently sits on, but also pictures of him and even a great video where he discusses the evolution of Social Media. All of this can live within one single embed or dynamic link.

Readers are going to stay on your site longer consuming all of this great content instead of jumping to CrunchBase or Twitter to see the latest news on Reid.

For existing Apture users LinkedIn support is already enabled.  Search for a particular person and look under the People tab within the Apture window.
