If you’re a regular Apture user, you probably already know that it only takes one line of code to add Apture to your site. You just add the script tag after all page content, but before the end </body> tag.

But you may not have known how to make Apture Links load lightening fast. That’s why I am bringing you today’s Tip of the Day!
As your site accumulates lots of third party scripts, pages can take longer to load. Apture uses clever techniques to make links appear as fast as possible, but you can make the links appear even faster by placing the Apture script before other scripts for widgets, advertisements, etc.
For example, if you had Google Analytics or Omniture scripts on your page, we recommend placing the Apture tag before these, so that Apture links appear immediately, rather than waiting around for widgets and advertisements on your page to load.
Have you tried this? Send us a link to your page at feedback@apture.com if you want us to feature your site.
We couldn’t be more thrilled that our Alma Mater’s student run newspaper, The Stanford Daily, is using Apture. They even ran a story on us today. Many thanks to all the editors and contributors who made this launch possible!
